Skullcandy Hesh 3

The Hesh 3 are a great go to, day to day Bluetooth headphones to have. Sound quality and bass are just about right and battery life (up to 22 hrs) is truly amazing, as well as rapid charge technology.

The SkullCandy Hesh 3 come equipped with Bluetooth Wireless Technology, 22 hours of battery life, rapid charge technology (10 minutes = 4 hrs), Noise-Isolating Fit, Microphone, Call, Track, and Volume Control and Collapsible Design.

The sound coming through the Hesh 3’s is great but not outstanding. However, for the price point of these headphones, you won’t complain at all for everyday use. The bass is there and acceptable at moderate volume but it would have been nice to see it be a bit cleaner and deeper. If you turn it up past 70% volume it quickly becomes distorted. Once again they sound good enough and you will like using them on a daily basis. The bass and sound quality is all dependent on the music you listen to. I like a lot of House and R&B music.

Memory foam ear cushions and a noise isolating fit meet custom-tuned 40mm drivers. They look sleek and stylish. When it comes to the build quality, this is where SkullCandy has left me scratching my head.

The Hesh 3’s are extremely cheaply made from the feel of the plastic to the extremely flimsy construction. The hinges are weak and cheaply made out of plastic that feels like it will break in a matter of days and not have any durability to them at all.

Would I buy them again? On sale and for everyday use – yes! The excellent Bluetooth connectivity, comfort around my ears and amazing battery life and acceptable bass is good enough for me at $99.00 CAD purchased on sale at BestBuy.
